Who we are
Devevolution ("we", "us") operates devevolution.co.uk. For any questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at tatendathedeveloper@gmail.com.
What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you submit our contact form. This includes:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your phone number and company name (optional, if provided)
- The service you are interested in, estimated budget, timeline, and project details you enter
We always store a single, non-identifying preference (light or dark theme) in your browser's local storage, which is never transmitted to us or any third party.
With your consent, given via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, we also load Google Tag Manager to help us understand site traffic. Google Tag Manager may set cookies and share data with Google in connection with this. It is only loaded after you actively accept; if you reject or take no action, it is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading the page.
How we use your data
We use the information you submit through the contact form to:
- Respond to your enquiry and discuss your project
- Contact you about our services if you have opted in to receive marketing communications
The legal basis for processing your enquiry is your consent, given when you submit the form. Marketing communications are sent only if you separately opt in, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Who we share your data with
Contact form submissions are sent by email using Resend, our transactional email provider, and processed by Firebase (Google Cloud), our hosting and backend provider. We do not sell your data or share it with any other third party.
How long we keep it
Submitted enquiries are retained in our email inbox for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain a record of the engagement, and are deleted on request. A short-lived technical record (a one-way hash of your submission, not your personal data in readable form) is kept for up to 30 days solely to prevent duplicate spam submissions.
Your rights
Under the UK and EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email tatendathedeveloper@gmail.com.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
